My Story

I have been baking since the minute my mom and grandma allowed me in the kitchen. I come from a long line of pie bakers and cookie makers. Baking was always a hobby. In college, while I worked on my super-useful degree in cultural anthropology, I baked for classmates. I baked for roommates. I baked for friends. In law school, I kept baking. As a housing rights attorney in Los Angeles, I stress baked my way through dozens of trials.

In 2016, I decided to take a break from the law. While shuttling my two sons around to activities and raising money for their public elementary school, I continued to bake and eventually started a very part time home baking business making custom celebration cakes.

In March 2020, with the Covid-19 pandemic shutting most of us in our home and causing all of our anxiety levels to skyrocket, I baked even more and started baking virtually with friends. Now I bring my baking therapy to you. Baking brings me joy, and I hope to give that joy to you.
